I once saw a man
With a hunger so deep
He could not quell it
And a sadness so steep
He could not tell it
The day he jumped he heard it say:
Walk the world
Do talk the world
Know and show and flow
The world
Unjust the world
Just adjust the world
Trust the world
Wander and sink into the world
Drink the world
Do think the world
Know the world is just yourself
Sing yourself
Do ring yourself
Drink and think
Sink into yourself
Show yourself
Do know yourself
Reach yourself and
Teach yourself
Just yourself
Just trust yourself
Above yourself
Just love yourself
Know the world is just yourself
And when he hit the ground
No
Soft arms of light
Reach down through clouds
To stroke and tickle
The tops of the trees
Walking diagonal, he decrees,
"With fever and ache do I plague the earth!
From soothing death to thundering birth!"
If I recall, he one day sees
The golden tops of trees
shove ourselvestogether
grieving grinding shove ourselvestogether
heaving breathing breathing
give and take give and take
grabbing holding stroking
yeah I'll kiss you all over
and over and over
yeah I'll use and
run my tongue on every ridge you've got
feel your heels
at my back
your arms all up
around my neck
give me your beautiful fucking skin
our fucking skin
this perfect sin
yeah I'll bite you there
yes I'll claw you harder
drastic movements share
harder
you say?
harder I say whatever you say
sweating heaving breathing
dripping giving taking
dreaming seeing grieving
grieving flying feeling
never tame this dark an
Crafts me into the boy he'll see
Wraps my body all around me
With hands of amber
Fingers soft
Throws me back into he
Paints a smile across my/his face
Makes my skin all out of lace
Softer still
My maker's neck
And always leaves me out of place
Gives me hope without its trace
Dances me outside its box
Turns off the light, the door he locks
Brings me ivory
Golden things
Hears the ticking of the clocks
Makes me dream
To me he sings
Fills my stomach full of rocks
Hands on me, linger rings
Holds my heart all made of wheat
Carries it round, the world to meet
Paints my eyes
Tussles my hare hair
Strokes my feet
Trips and rips
The most beautiful thing I've ever heard
Was whispered to me
Amid clothes and blankets
And a seemingly irresistable desire to be your "him"
It's like a frost
You're breath coating me
A freezing relief to an overheated, exhausted me
Those words
With the impalpable drop of their essence
Send me falling
A fall I've taken before
Falling mind and body
Words falling out my head
Saying, "Perfect."
My smile a faint description
Of everything
My pants have already told you
Your words are still hanging in the air
Around my frosty ears
"Let it happen"
When I saw you in my dream last night
I think I half-recall
You were explaining to me, the baked potato
And waltzing on the wall
I hadn't noticed that you'd been dressed
Until your body was bare
I half-recall I looked away
I may have chosen to stare
I see you here in reality
And blush when faced your way
As if the secrets in my head
My face would give away
In that dream I half-remember
You looked into my eyes
The walls and floors and the baked potato
Ripped into the skies
The world around us fell apart
You told me as you held my heart,
"Everybody dies."

I. Walking, walking
Always walking
With your shoes
On, not off
II. A third shoe
Is like a third wheel
It's not needed until
You have a fourth wheel
Or a third leg
III. The worn soul
Of a shoe
Is the wrinkled skin
Of an old face
IV. A bare foot
(Without a shoe)
Gathers many blisters
And slivers and thorns
V. His feet are tougher
Than leather boots
What use has he for shoes?
VI. Jogging man with his
Tennis shoes
Business woman with her
Tennis shoes
VII. Shoes tied together
Hanging from a telephone wire
Whose feet are cold now?
VIII. Like tribal, animal drums
Of ritualistic sacrifice
Her heels click
On the street
My heart is still at the walker
With that boy
It happened again
Of course since then
A ravaging of fantasy flesh
Be careful what you wish
And no sad songs, please
I loved when you told me
About how you were tied up and you liked it
I loved the cheese and wine
Her laugh made me laugh
We had a threesome with words
Be a puppy again
Be careful with my mind
No sad songs, please
He died
And do you think
For one moment in his life
Anyone but his lover
Knew he was gay?
Did he see
A boy at an art museum?
He died so that
I could live and hear
His memorial song
Oh, god, be careful
And no sad songs, please
You still touch me th
It's time to say goodbye, I know
Goodbye to all of my fear
To all of my insecurity
And goodbye to my hate
It's time to open up my heart
And let it flow through me
Like rain
Time to let go of my identity
It's time to forget my trespasses
And forget those trespasses against me
Goodbye to the grudges
And goodbye to "me" and "them"
It's time to let go of my desire
It's time to let sexual expression be sanctioned by a relationship
And it's time to free myself of a "couple"
And just be
It's time to be truly altruistic
To understand that i'm part of a whole
An irreplaceble part
But a part, nonetheless
But never apart, nonetheless
Mao is the center of truth
The center of my truth is unhidden
Why do we visit the relatives?
Because it is their time of need
They never came to us
That doesn't mean we won't do it for them
Why is it their time of need?
Because you're dead
It's so bestranging to feel like there's no tomorrow
Doesn't tomorrow come?
Only today
Tomorrow didn't come yesterday?
Tomorrow never comes today, even
How rude
I know
And the funny thing is
Tomorrow never comes no matter what day today is
Or yesterday was
How rude
I know
Do you have a favorite color?
I hate it when people ask that
But do you?
What does it matter?
I want to know what

WHAT THE HELL.
Because of formatting problems, I can't seem to get my latest work up on DA. I'm super pissed. Anyone know who to complain to about this?
So, I realize I haven't been on in a while, and looking back at the stuff I have posted I'm not very satisfied. Expect more writing to hit this business soon.
